INTRODUCTION

Booking & Terms of Registration

To book a trip with TID – Travel India Differently (legal name: Découverte Inde Holidays Pvt. Ltd), you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.

Your booking becomes official upon payment of a deposit of 40% of the total trip cost (or 35% for small group tours).
This payment implies full acceptance of our general terms and conditions of sale.

We recommend booking well in advance to allow us to organize your journey in the best possible way.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure, without the need for a reminder from us.
For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, the full amount of the trip will be required at the time of registration.


Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your participation, refunds will be processed as follows:

-More than 90 days before departure: full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee and any applicable bank charges.

Between 90 and 60 days before departure: refund of 75% of the amount paid.

Between 60 and 30 days before departure: refund of 50% of the amount paid.

Less than 30 days before departure: no refund can be made, as services will have already been engaged.

 

Air Travel

We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance covering flight cancellation, medical assistance, and repatriation.
In the absence of insurance or in the event of a refusal of reimbursement by your airline, we cannot be held responsible.

Please note that flight schedules may change due to circumstances beyond our control (such as air traffic regulations or weather conditions).
In such cases, TID – Travel India Differently cannot be held liable, and any additional costs incurred due to these changes will be the responsibility of the traveler.

Responsibilities

We cannot be held responsible if a traveler misses their flight for any reason, including force majeure. In such cases, no refund will be possible.

All administrative formalities (visa, passport, vaccinations, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the traveler.
This also applies to any difficulties related to customs, police, immigration, or health.

During the trip, each participant agrees to:

-Comply with local laws

Exercise caution and responsibility

Follow the instructions of the guide or tour leader

TID – Travel India Differently cannot be held responsible for any incident or accident resulting from reckless or negligent behavior on the part of a participant.


Important Notices

It is strictly forbidden to purchase or transport illegal products, such as counterfeit goods, drugs, or artifacts from archaeological or historical sites.
Any violation of these rules may lead to criminal prosecution.

TID – Travel India Differently (legal name: Découverte Inde Holidays Pvt. Ltd) cannot be held responsible for any costs related to international flight delays or cancellations, even if they impact the trip’s schedule.
Any additional expenses incurred will be the sole responsibility of the participant.

Your luggage remains your own responsibility throughout the entire trip. The tour leader cannot ensure its supervision.

By choosing to travel in India, each participant acknowledges and accepts certain inherent risks related to local conditions (such as basic infrastructure, limited access to healthcare, or communication challenges).
These risks are accepted knowingly and voluntarily, and cannot be attributed to TID – Travel India Differently.

If a traveler decides to interrupt or shorten their trip, no refund will be provided, regardless of the reason.

Insurance

The advertised price does not include any insurance.
We strongly recommend purchasing a policy that covers at least:


-Medical assistance

-Repatriation

And ideally, trip cancellation


If you choose not to purchase insurance, we decline all responsibility in the event of an incident.

  • Please inform us if you are traveling without insurance, so that we may have you sign a liability waiver.
    We also recommend that you bring a copy of your insurance policy with you.

    Force Majeure

    In the event of an unforeseen situation beyond our control (such as security issues, weather conditions, strikes, protests, etc.) that forces us to cancel a trip — even at the last minute — any amounts paid will be refunded, but no additional compensation will be granted.

    Likewise, during the trip, we reserve the right to adjust the itinerary, accommodations, means of transport, or schedule if necessary.
    Such changes will not entitle the traveler to financial compensation.

    Disputes

    In case of a disagreement, we will always favor an amicable resolution.
    If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
