Ladakh amazes no matter where you turn your eyes. Come to Ladakh, you willnot be able to remain insensitive to its charms, it will open your heart.
To the north of Ladakh stretches the Nubra valley irrigated by the icy waters coming from the Karakoram chain.
The sediments, received from continental glaciers among the largest in the world, form dunes where camels live at more than 3000 meters of altitude.
In the East of Ladakh, the narrow valleys open from the high plateaus on which lie immense lakes whose beauty is enigmatic. You may be lucky enough to come across a group of Changtpa nomads with their Yaks.
To the south and west stretches the Zanskar chain, a desert of mountains dotted with a few villages and monasteries perched on rock faces that you can visit by setting off on legendary treks.
The Ladakhis are extremely welcoming and live in small villages which are veritable oases, enclaves of greenery in the mineral immensity of the Himalayas.
They practice Tibetan Buddhism, the beauty of which you can admire during the festivals organized annually in the many monasteries, or which you can immerse yourself in if you choose to take our spiritual journey to Ladakh.
