The first few days will be spent acclimatizing to the high altitude and exploring the serene monasteries of Leh and its surroundings. But then, get ready for an unforgettable adventure as we set off on a thrilling trek through picturesque villages.
As we make our way through the stunning landscapes, you’ll be mesmerized by the grandeur of the Himalayas, the glistening rivers, and the warm hospitality of the locals. The trek is a sensory feast, with every step revealing a new marvel of nature’s craftsmanship. Upon arrival at Delhi airport, our representative will meet you and assist with your check-in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a sightseeing tour of the city. We’ll visit the iconic Red Fort, an impressive structure built with red sandstone, where India celebrates its Independence Day every year.
Next, we’ll stop by Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, which can accommodate 25,000 worshippers.
We’ll then take a rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk, exploring the sights and sounds of old Delhi. The day will also include visits to Humayun’s Tomb, a majestic monument with a complex structure, and Akshardham temple. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a spectacular light and sound show at Akshardham temple, featuring advanced technology and a captivating story from Kena Upanishad.

On the second day, we’ll take an early morning flight to Leh, passing over the Himalayan Ranges with breathtaking views. This flight is subject to weather conditions.
Upon arrival in Leh, we’ll transfer to our hotel and have the rest of the day free to acclimate to the high altitude (3,500m).
In the evening, we’ll take a leisurely stroll around the market area.

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a sightseeing tour of Leh, visiting the Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist monument built by Japanese monks to promote world peace. This iconic structure holds the relics of Buddha at its base, enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama.
We’ll also visit the Sankar Gompa, a subsidiary of Spituk Monastery and part of the Gelukpa Sect. Perched on a hilltop, Namgyal Tsemo Monastery offers breathtaking views of the city and its surrounding mountains.
We’ll also explore Leh Palace, a nine-story structure built in 1553.

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Rizong Monastery (75 km), also known as Yuma Changchubling, which belongs to the Gelukpa Sect. This strict monastery was built in 1831 and is believed to be a paradise for meditation.
We’ll also visit Alchi village and explore Alchi Monastery, one of the oldest and most famous monasteries in Ladakh, built in 1000 AD.

Today, we’ll embark on a 2-hour hike to Mangyu Monastery, following a trail that takes us through a small bridge over the Indus River and then crosses Gera village.
We’ll visit the monastery, which comprises four temples and is believed to have been built in the 11th century. After spending some time at the monastery, we’ll return to Alchi and relax at our hotel.

This morning, we’ll return to Leh (75 km) and en-route visit Likir Monastery, one of the oldest villages in India, founded in 1065 AD. The monastery is home to a 23-meter gold-covered Buddha statue.
We’ll also visit Basgo Monastery, located on a hill in Basgo village, known for its Buddha statue and murals. The monastery was built in the 17th century for the Namgyal rulers.
After visiting these monasteries, we’ll continue our drive to Leh and check-in to our hotel.

We’ll embark on a scenic drive from Leh to Pangong Tso (4,250m), passing through Tak Tak and Sakti villages. We’ll cross the third-highest motorable pass in the world, Chang La (5,360m), and continue our journey to Pangong Tso.
We’ll reach the lake in the afternoon and spend time exploring the surroundings. The lake is a high-altitude lake located near the Line of Actual Control, with one-third of it lying in India and the remaining two-thirds in China.
We’ll stay in deluxe fixed tents with all modern amenities available.

Today, we’ll have a full day to explore the surroundings of Pangong Tso. We’ll enjoy the serene beauty of the lake and its rocky shoreline, and get a chance to spot birds by the lakeside.

After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Leh, en-route visiting Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. We’ll then visit Thiksey Monastery, which belongs to the Gelukpa sect and has a recently built temple containing a magnificent image of the Future Buddha.

We’ll start our journey to Nubra Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, where the Shyok River meets the Nubra River. We’ll drive through breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and reach the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La (5,602m). We’ll stop for some time and then continue our journey to Nubra Valley, where we’ll check-in to our hotel.

Today, we’ll visit Diskit Monastery, located on a hilltop and belonging to the Gelukpa sect. We’ll then visit Samstanling Monastery, built in the early 19th century by Lama Tsultim Nyima. An optional Bactrian camel safari can also be arranged at Hunder Sand dunes.

We’ll drive back to Leh and have free time to explore the market and do some shopping.

We’ll be transferred to airport to board our flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, we’ll be received by our representative and head for sightseeing in Delhi.
We’ll visit Lotus Temple, Agrasen ki Baoli, and Delhi Haat.
The Lotus Temple is a beautiful example of modern architecture, resembling a floating lotus flower.
Agrasen ki Baoli is a small but unique attraction that showcases traditional Indian architecture.
Dilli Haat is a market that promotes traditional handlooms and crafts.
After our sightseeing tour, we’ll transfer back to our hotel for relaxation before transferring to international airport for our return flight.
